As the 2025 tax season hits full swing, QuickBooks Online (QBO) has launched a new Tax Insights Dashboard, providing small business owners with real-time visibility into their tax position. The feature summarizes income, deductible expenses, and estimated liabilities — all in one view — helping users plan ahead and avoid last-minute surprises.

The dashboard also alerts business owners when they’re missing documents or underreporting specific categories, such as mileage, advertising, or professional services. The goal is to bring proactive awareness to taxes throughout the year, not just at filing time.

“This is exactly what small business owners have needed,” said a certified bookkeeper who specializes in digital accounting systems. “The dashboard connects all the pieces — bookkeeping, taxes, and forecasting — so owners always know where they stand.”

Experts recommend reviewing the new dashboard at least once per month, especially for businesses that pay quarterly estimated taxes. By making tax readiness a year-round habit, QuickBooks aims to reduce stress and increase financial confidence for entrepreneurs in 2025 and beyond.
